Care During Pregnancy

At Let It Be Midwifery we provide comprehensive, holistic, prenatal health care, including informed choice, lab work, and general monitoring for deviations from normal.  We provide support and information to women throughout pregnancy, labor and postpartum.  We also provide consultation or referrals as appropriate.

I plan to see you every month for prenatal care up until the 28^th week and then every two weeks until 36weeks and weekly thereafter until your baby is born.  Care will be provided in your home or my home office.  Each prenatal visit will last a full hour to allow for time to form a relationship and get to know your birth team well.

If you are comfortable with having another midwife and/or apprentice present at your birth, I will introduce you to one assistant midwife and possibly one apprentice who may be a part of your birth team.  This decision is of course always up to you and you can change your mind regarding who will be present at your birth at anytime (even during labor).

I will be on call for you beginning at 37 weeks of pregnancy which means, I will always be available by cell phone and will remain within 2 hours of your home.  I will also be available by phone for questions and concerns from the hours of 9am to 5pm or after hours if urgent.
